Bhabhulgaon Ganga is situated on the banks of river Godavari (southern ganga) in Arungabad district in Vaijapur taluka. It is 20 kms away Vaijapur. From Punatamba railway station the distance to Babhulgaon is 20 kms and 30 kms from Ukkadgaon and 18 kms from Sakhadgaon. If one is coming from Ahmednagar, then he would have to travel upto Shrirampur and from Shrirampur the distance to Babhulgaon is 25kms, via Naur village. We can see the holy and beautiful idols of Shri Chidambara Mahaswamiji, Saraswati mataji, Savitri mataji and Maruti in Babhulgaon. They are worshipped by relatives of the great deciple saint Shri Rajaram Maharaj regularly. The hand written abhangas (verses of prayers of God in poetic form) of Shri Rajaram Maharaj are also available. There are total 1,51,491 abhangas.
Mr. D. M. Gokak and friends from Chikodi (Karnataka) have travelled from Chikodi to Babhulgaon many a times. They have collected the hand written abhangas and laminated to preserve them carefully. Till then the abhangas or gathas are in a cloth pack or in a bundle of cloths like saari and dhoti. The completion of gatha is done in shake 1750 i.e. in 1828 A. D. It is said that Shri Bandopant Tammana Ugaragol (Bandumama) had visited this place as per the order of Shri Ramana Maharshiji. In one abhanga, Saint Vithabai says "nirjana pradesh tethe aahe mhanooni nahi dhunkoon pahat koni. "
The great work of protecting the abhanga gathas have done by the Shri Chidambar Seva Sámi tee people of Chikodi with the blessings of Shri Arvind Dixit .Under the banner Chidambar seva samiti Sri.D M Gokak ,Sri and sau. Prabhakar Bennurkar , Sri Prabhakar Kulkarni Vadgao ,Sri Mohan Kamat ,Sri Kristnappa ,Sri and sau Eitaal , Sri R D Joshi . Sri B S Kulkarni , Sri K C Kavishwar , Sri C V Joshi , Sri Shedbale , Sri R G Mutalik Desai .The holy beautiful statues of Shri Chdambara Mahaswamiji , Saraswati mataji ,Savitri mataji and Maruti daily pooja is also started .
Also these people have built a "Shri Chidambar Rajaram Bhakta Niwas" by collecting donations for the visitors to stay with the people of Bhabhulgaon and Vaijapur. The work started on 20/03/1992 bhoomi poojan ,01/08/1994 slab work ,18/03/1995 vastu shanti.
On that time there are no roads only we can walk up to Bhabhulgaon during that time the team from Karnataka arrived here and done such a marvelous work of protecting the gaatha as well as of Bhakta niwasa work.
